Well done to Brad on gaining his C+E licence. Brad’s thoughts about the training he received are provided below.

“I can’t thank Road to Logistics enough for helping me get my C+E licence. I’m based up in Merseyside and the process from start to finish was very smooth. The help that was given to find a job was also very much appreciated.

Without the help from Road to Logistics I think I would have struggled to get employed as a lot of companies want years’ of experience. They are able to help find companies that are willing to employ new starters. The course itself was very interesting and that is only down to the amazing people from Road to Logistics. As a lot of drivers know, a lot of the stuff can be mundane but hearing some of the experience the trainers had had in the industry, it made for a very interesting conversation.

I’ve read a comment about “more foreigners…” and people who don’t work…” and to be honest this couldn’t be further from the facts. The majority of my cohort were English and working people due to the skills bootcamp program. Which is how I got into the course.

Even after employment there was support there in terms of navigating the transport industry, which, to be blunt, they didn’t HAVE to do. They did it because they genuinely care.

Overall, without this course I could have wound up either in debt or having to spend savings in order to get my licence. So for that, and the ability to broaden my horizons, I am forever grateful to Road to Logistics.”
